The Washington State University system is something special. No other university system is set up quite like we are.

Strategic planning helps align colleges, campuses, and administrative units with the system strategic plan. The Office of Strategy, Planning and Analysis facilitate strategic planning at a system wide level.

As stewards of the WSU system strategic plan, we also support specific units with their strategic planning. Some units that we have recently worked with have included the WSU Spokane Campus and Cougar Health Services. We are actively working with WSU Cougar Athletics and continue to support the Office of Research in their strategic planning.

When we meet with each unit, we develop customized plans based on their needs. Some of the ways we assist include:

Designing and facilitating planning sessions
Collaborating with individual planning teams
Consultation of a unit’s plan
Helping the plan align with specific goals
Providing self-help materials for unit planning

Strategic planning helps clarify a vision and creates a plan to where we want to be. Our office is here to assist in that important process, while also aligning colleges, campuses, and administrative units with the WSU system strategic plan. We provide these services at no cost.

Strategic planning is a powerful process. We are here to support your strategic planning within your unit in whatever specific way you may need.
